Fun reminder that students that should be protected by the state to use their medical weed cards are not able to use their medication on campus as it is federal land. It’s cool, I can just pause my anxiety for the semester.

Fun reminder that hemp, a plant that in this country’s beginning was legal, is now illegal mainly because Ronald Reagan wanted to attack minority communities, specifically those within the civil rights movement. A former Reagan staff member explained how he destroyed his own country by attacking the image of hemp in an interview featured by the Utah Cannabis Coalition. He talks about how Reagan worked with evangelicals to use the gate way drug narrative to further their agenda. He also believes that weed will only become legal if the marijuana industry donates more to campaigns. That we can only gain our rights by donating more seems totally fair.

Fun reminder that the only people that benefit from weed being illegal are cops, prosecutors, and owners of private prisons. Everyone else is negatively affected.
If you don’t want to end up in federal prison for smoking a fun, cheap plant that can grow almost anywhere, then why not try drinking? I hope every 21 or older student on campus gets trashed as much as possible so that we’ll be too drunk to get high. When I die of alcoholism, they’ll say at the funeral, “Well, at least he wasn’t high.” Cheers!
