Senator Roberto Sardinha has resigned effective at the end of the last Senate meeting. Sardinha has been representing Electrical Engineering students since being elected in Fall 2018.

“It saddens me that I have to do this [resign], but I have to if I want to get through the semester fine,” said Sardinha. “I’m just gonna miss it because it was something that I been working towards the past… year and a half.”

Being a part of the Legislative Executive board, involved with clubs and overseeing the upcoming Campus Labs implementation, Sardinha was a very active senator as well as a seasoned member of the senate to all the incoming senators this semester. “Seeing how everything grows in this school – it’s just satisfying for everyone.”
